Real estate is in constant flux, so it’s important to not only know the price of your current home but to also research home prices and long-term value of houses where you’re moving.

• Commute Time and Public Transportation Options – Commute times should also be apart of your homework. A good public transportation system is a major plus when choosing a place to live. With gas prices rising and commute times becoming longer, utilizing public transportation options like light rail, train, or bus can be an inexpensive, time-saving way for you and your family to get around.

What could be worse than a move with no money? A move with no money and no job!

However, looking for a job before you move with no money might not be as hard as it has been in the past.

This could make moving with no job or place to live potentially that much easier!

So before you start looking for a new gig, see if your current employer will consider letting you work remotely.
